Founder & Principal Project Manager U.S. Army Service-Disabled Veteran
Timothy Daniels Knight founded The Luzar Group on a simple conviction: that the discipline of military service and the resourcefulness of a creative mind, put together, solve problems most contractors won't touch.
A U.S. Army Service-Disabled Veteran, Timothy brings more than 18 years of cross-sector project management and federal contracting experience. Before founding The Luzar Group, he spent 13+ years as a CDC contractor across six federal prime firms, supporting national public-health communications campaigns and contributing to a multimedia commemorative exhibit. That work built the standard he holds the company to today — precise, accountable, and delivered from concept to completion.
A documentary filmmaker and longtime public-health advocate, Timothy has founded and led community film initiatives and produced award-winning documentary work. That blend — veteran discipline, federal experience, and a creative approach to hard problems — is what The Luzar Group brings to every engagement.

Produced and edited national public-health Public Service Announcements across six CDC prime contractors — sound mixing, noise reduction, multi-track audio optimization, and editorial finishing — in support of national public-health communications campaigns.
More than a decade as a CDC contractor across six prime firms — including federal health-data modernization communications and contributions to a multimedia commemorative exhibit.
Founded and led community film initiatives and produced award-winning documentary work — advancing public-health storytelling and advocacy through film.
